The School

Essendene Lodge was established as an independent school in 1966. The school provides a wide and varied curriculum for boys and girls from 2 to 11+ years. We create a stimulating atmosphere where learning becomes a natural and welcome part of a child’s development. We believe it is crucial to create a secure environment in order to build the confidence of the developing child.

Our small class sizes enable all our children to receive individual attention and a learning experience matched to their needs. Staff are experienced and qualified, and specialist teachers are employed to teach some individual subjects.
